Weekend Forecast: January Temps To Stay

Highs in the 50s, Lows in the 30s Common This Weekend

January has been missing for weeks, but just before the month comes to an end, January shows up. Colder air continues to filter into the Southeastern US as our jetstream has turned out of the northwest compared to out of the Gulf of Mexico–a big change atmospherically! We’ll see several reinforcing shots of cold air over the next few days, helping to keep us below average. Our weather looks to remain dry through late next week, but given the wet January we’ve experienced, we can all use a bit of a break from the rain. Here’s a look at your forecast:

Friday…Mostly sunny skies, a cold breeze. High 48-54.

Friday Night…Mostly clear and cold. Low 29-35.

Saturday…Sunshine with passing clouds. Continued cool. High 51-56.

Saturday Night…Partly to mostly clear skies and cold. Low 33-38.

Sunday…Sun w/ Increasing Clouds. High 50-57.
