Dog owner facing involuntary manslaughter after dogs' deadly attack

Atlanta, GA (WSB) – An Atlanta man is facing an involuntary manslaughter charge after his dogs mauled two children walking to the school bus Tuesday.

Cameron Tucker is jailed on a $70,000 bond.

Police say his two dogs attacked a group of kids killing six-year-old Logan Braatz.

Five-year-old Syari Sanders, was seriously injured.

Several witnesses recalled hearing screaming children, seeing the vicious attack, and running to save the kids.

Both children attended F.L. Stanton Elementary School.

Wednesday, grief counselors were sent to the school.

Ss for the dogs in the attack, both were taken into custody by Animal Control.

No word if they’ve been put down.
