Megachurch Pastor Bishop Eddie Long dead at 63
(CNN) – Megachurch Pastor Bishop Eddie Long has died.
The senior pastor of Georgia’s New Birth Missionary Baptist Church passed away early Sunday morning according to a news release from the church.
The statement says long died from ‘an aggressive form of cancer’ after a private battle.
He leaves behind a wife of 27 years, Vanessa Long, four children and three grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
He was 63.
