V.F.W hosts two day job fair

Columbus- A two day job fair kicks off at the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Columbus.

The job expo features 70 employers who are either hiring on the spot or are looking to hire in the near future.

Everyone is welcome, but they're focusing on military personnel who have been recently separated from active duty and other veterans.

The expo couldn't come at a better time as Georgia looks to possibly slash jobless benefits to pay back loans owed to the federal government.

The expo runs until tomorrow from 9am- 1pm with representatives from AFLAC, the Auburn Police Department, Home Depot and the TIC Federal Credit Union all expected to attend.

Job hunters are asked to be “dressed for success” and bring multiple copies of their resume.  You may even get an interview on the spot.
