Today Conway Data and Red Hot Locations announced the host location of the 12th annual WORLD FORUM for Foreign Direct Investment. The 2015 Forum will be hosted by the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq). Located in the United Arab Emirates, Sharjah has quickly established itself as a world-class business destination and a sought-after location for foreign direct investment. The 2014 WORLD FORUM was held in Philadelphia on the 16th 18th of June, and recently concluded with the announcement of Sharjah as its next host. The Philadelphia WORLD FORUM attracted over 350 delegates from 36 countries and featured speakers from Moodys Analytics, Sasol, Tata, and many other companies and regions from around the world.

Held annually in locations around the world, the WORLD FORUM for Foreign Direct Investment provides a platform to network and discuss global location decisions amongst FDI dealmakers, including globally expanding companies, economic and investment agencies, and the multipliers and site consultants who advise both parties.

The dates for the 2015 Sharjah WORLD FORUM are February 9 11.

With previous WORLD FORUMs being held in Amsterdam, Brussels, London, Valencia, Bologna, Vilnius, Tallin, Shanghai, and Philadelphia, the WORLD FORUM features the latest news on corporate strategy concerning location requirements, people and future expansion are covered, giving an insight into business sectors and activities that are growing rapidly. Economic Development Agencies are invited to meet and network with their potential clients (corporate investors) and to also build their own networks sharing best practice with colleagues from investment and development agencies from diverse regions.
