TDWI (The Data Warehousing Institute), the premier provider of in-depth, high-quality education and research in the business intelligence, data warehousing, and analytics industry, has announced the featured track for its next 2014 TDWI World Conference, Evolving Your Analytics InfrastructureFrom Data Warehouse to Big Data.
The Boston World Conference will offer nearly 40 in-depth, vendor-neutral BI and DW coursesincluding 12 courses specifically related to the conference theme. TDWI instructors understand that analytics is the heartbeat of data warehousing, business intelligence, and analysis. In these sessions, they will explain why the key to getting value from analytics is a solid analytics infrastructure that is adaptable and agile as you grow your data warehouse and business intelligence environments. Theyll examine everything from avoiding information overload with data visualization to supporting an analytics-driven organization. The conferences analytics track also looks at emerging technologies and innovative techniques and best practices that maximize the value of advanced analytics.

In his keynote presentation, Better Health, Better Care, Lower Cost: How Big Data and Real-Time Analytics Can Achieve this Triple Aim, Dr. Timothy G. Buchman (founding director of the Emory Critical Care Center) will discuss how Emorys Critical Care Center is using new technology to create awareness of individual patients and populations to recognize changes in condition, enabling earlier interventions that require less complicated care.
Keynote speaker and predictive analytics expert and author Tony Rathburn (senior consultant and training director at The Modeling Agency) will explore a business-driven perspective on using analytics
that offers measurable organizational benefits, rapid implementation potential, minimal new investments, and low-risk implementation strategies that can have near-immediate impact on virtually all organizations.
The TDWI BI Executive Summit, a special program for executives and sponsors, will be held jointly with the TDWI World Conference. The Summit, which will take place July 2123, 2014, is dedicated to providing attendees with experience-driven insights to help them deliver BI and analytics value sooner. Its sessions will focus on helping organizations realize the potential of BI, analytics, and big data while avoiding the pitfalls of these technologies.
