Police in Auburn didn't waste any time arresting two men on burglary charges this week.

21- year old Nicolas Howard and 24-year old Nealious Hodge were both arrested on felony warrants charging them both with burglary and theft of property Monday, the same day as they allegedly committed the robbery.

Police say the pair forced their way into a home in the 400 block of Opelika Road and stole a firearm and various electronic equipment valued at over 3-thousand dollars.

Police say Howard and Hodge were arrested while inside a local business with some of the stolen property.

They were booked into the Lee County Jail and are both eligible for an 8-thousand dollar bond.
