DC: White House on lockdown-security issue

Posted: Updated:
Washington, D.C. (CNN) - The White House went on lockdown Tuesday after a car followed a motorcade into a secure area of the White House grounds.

A source with knowledge of the situation tells CNN the motorcade was carrying President Obama's daughters.

The same source says the car's driver has a security pass for the Treasury Department, located next to the White House on Pennsylvania Avenue.

The driver is now custody and the lockdown has been lifted.
