Charges upgraded against teen accused in PA stabbing

Posted: Updated:
(CNN) - Charges have been upgraded against a teenager accused of stabbing students at a Pittsburgh area high school.

16-year-old Alex Hribal had only been charged with four counts of attempted homicide and 21 counts of aggravated assault.

Now prosecutors say he's charged with 21 counts of attempted homicide.

Court documents released on Friday reveal Hribal told school officials trying to subdue him during the stabbing that he wasn't dropping his knife because he had "more people to kill."

Hribal is accused of slashing his way through franklin regional high, injuring 20 classmates and an adult.
