Chicago, IL (CNN) - It's a big day for one of baseball's most-famous stadiums.
Today, the Chicago Cubs celebrate 100 years at Wrigley Field, with their first home game of the centennial season.
Wrigley opened on April 23rd, 1914 on Chicago's north side named Weeghman Park at the time.
Its home team had a different name, too The Chicago Federals.
The park cost $250,000 to build back then, and sat only 14,000 fans.
Cubs players will wear special throwback "feds" jerseys for some games this season.
