• Theft of Property occurred at 108 Columbus Parkway (BNB Tax Service) between 2/17/2014 (3:00 PM) and 2/24/2014 (9:00 AM). Complainant reported an employee completed a tax refund for one customer and then diverted the refund for that customer into another account. The total amount of the transaction was approximately $2,300.00. There is a suspect and the case is under investigation.

• Theft by Fraudulent Leasing or Rental occurred at 3412 Pepperell Parkway (Colorvision) between 2/7/2014 (12:00 PM) and 4/1/2014 (2:00 PM). Complainant reported an individual came into the business and signed a lease/rental agreement for a bed, dresser, mirror, chest of drawers, and a night stand. Complainant stated the only payment made was for the initial payment to open the account. There is a suspect and the case is under investigation.

• Fraudulent Use of a Credit or Debit Card occurred in the 2000 block of Marvyn Parkway on 4/1/2014 between (5:15 PM) and (5:18 PM). Victim reported someone had used her debit card information and made purchases at the Dollar General in Opelika. According to the victim over $400.00 worth of purchases was debited to her account. The victim has no idea how someone was able to obtain her information. There are no suspects and the case is under investigation.
