(CNN) - A giant asteroid is hurling itself toward the earth, and it will be a close call.
How close? NASA says the asteroid will be closer to us than the moon.
That will happen around four PM Eastern this on Wednesday, but NASA says there's no reason to panic.
Scientists estimate the asteroid is about 100-feet across but it's unlikely it will even be visible from Earth.
