Washington, D.C. (CNN) - President Obama unveils his 2015 federal budget on Tuesday.
It includes several tax proposals meant to help low and middle-income families.
Few specific details have been released in advance. But the White House says tax changes would benefit the working poor, parents, students and those saving for retirement.
That would be paid for by closing tax loopholes.
In most years, Congress doesn't adopt much from presidential budget proposals.
It's even less likely now, since it's a mid-term election year.
