Stamford, Conn, - February 16, 2014 - NBC's primetime coverage of the XXII Olympic Winter Games tonight, Monday, February 17 at 8/7c features world ice dance champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White in the free dance program, the final phase of ice dancing, which combined with the short dance score determines the Olympic champions. 2010 Olympic silver medalists Davis and White came out on top in the short dance program Sunday, as well as the short dance and free dance programs during the team figure skating event in which the U.S. took bronze. Two-time Olympian Nate Holland leads a deep U.S. snowboard cross team into Sochi, hoping to win a third consecutive U.S. gold medal in this event. Also in primetime is the gold medal final runs in two-man bobsled, where 2010 Olympic four-man gold medalist Steven Holcomb has the top American sled in third place, hoping to earn the first U.S. medal in this event since 1952, and the aerials gold medal final in men's freestyle skiing, featuring 18-year-old American aerialist Mac Bohonnon.
