Atlanta, GA (CNN) - People in the Atlanta area are getting ready for a fresh round of sleet and snow.
It comes just two weeks after less than three inches of snow paralyzed the metro area.
On Tuesday, Atlanta's mayor warned people to stay off the roads.
Mayor Kasim Reed said, "The message I really want to share is, as of midnight tonight, wherever you are, you need to plan on staying there for a while. The bottom line is all of the information we have right now suggests that we are facing an icing event that is very unusual for the metropolitan region and the state of Georgia."
Forecasters worry the icy buildup could lead to downed trees and power lines.
