ATLANTA (AP) — Police say a man who was shot while riding a bus in Atlanta has been hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
Spokesman for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, Lyle Harris, says a suspect shot into a bus Tuesday afternoon and the injured passenger was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. Authorities have said the man was wounded in one of his legs.
Harris says it's unclear whether the victim was targeted or if the shooting was random. Information on the victim's age was not immediately available.
No arrests have been made and a description of the suspect was not available.
