Authorities said Wednesday that Demontt Allen of Houston and Sandy Brown of Brownsville surrendered the dogs, who have been taken to a temporary shelter in an undisclosed location.
Investigators seized more than 370 pit bulls and pit bull mixes in late August as part of an investigation into a dog fighting ring which includes defendants from Texas, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia.
