COLUMBUS, GA - The murder trial continues for two men accused of fatally shooting a Fort Benning contractor during a drug deal and robbery.

Jurors heard a third day of testimony Thursday in the murder trial for Calvin Denson and Dominique Lowe. The testimony focused on the three witnesses who were in the motel room during the murder and what they told police.

Denson and Lowe are both charged in connection to the 2011 murder of Julian Hernandez.

Hernandez's roommate testified Thursday that they were inside a room at the Plaza Motel on Victory Drive with two other women when a drug deal turned deadly. He told prosecutors he was so scared that he couldn't identify either of the defendants in a line up, or in the court room.

However detectives testified that one of the women inside the room told police she previously knew Lowe and identified him as the man who came to the room to sell drugs.

The other witness identified Lowe as the drug dealer and Denson as the shooter in court.

But the three witnesses all gave different accounts of the shooting: one saying the shooter was wearing a black mask, one saying he was wearing a white mask and the other saying he didn't have a mask on.

The whole incident was caught on tape--one of the witnesses was on the phone with a Muscogee County Jail inmate at the time of the shooting. The jail records all phone calls.

After the State rested it's case, both defendants told the judge they did not want to testify in the trial. The defense called one witness that testified Denson was with him the night of the murder and then rested it's case.

The jury will hear closing arguments Friday morning.
