Delta subsidiary, MLT Vacations, relocates to Ga.

ATLANTA (AP) — Delta Air Lines CEO Richard Anderson and Gov. Nathan Deal are touting the relocation of one of the nation's largest vacation package providers to Atlanta.

Richardson and Deal attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday at the new location of MLT Vacations, which is a subsidiary of Delta Air Lines. The vacations company recently moved to metro Atlanta from Minnesota.

MLT Vacations President John Caldwell says the move resulted in the hiring of some 100 employees from the Atlanta area. The company manages multiple vacation package brands, including Delta Vacations and Aeromexico Vacations.

Deal says Georgia is fortunate to have Delta and its subsidiary in the state and says the airline employs more people in the metro Atlanta area than any other.
