By Staff Reports (Auburn, AL)- Well its not the first time that the 2010 Auburn football program has come under fire but last night another report surfaced alleging all kinds of violations.
Former sportswriter for the New York Times and author of the Mitchell Report, Selena Roberts
publishing a story claiming Auburn paid players, committed academic fraud by changing players grades before the 2010 National Championship game and used more than the allotted 50 dollars to host recruits.
Her story hinges on the testimony of former Auburn safety, who is scheduled to be on trial for armed robbery next week.
Here's how some of the Auburn community reacted to the report.
"I've been an Auburn fan for a long time and I love Auburn and I don't think it would be true but I guess you never know."
"I think the guy McNeil is about to be on trial and so I don't think he's gonna be a real credible source right now and the lady who is also supposedly reporting it, I don't know much about her, but what I've read she's the same lady that was reporting about the Lacrosse players and that turned out not to be true so hopefully this will pass and we can get back to playing football"
