Fire officials on scene of early morning house fire

COLUMBUS, GA - Fire officials are investigating after a home catches fire early Wednesday morning.

The home, located on Southern Street, went up in flames around 3:30 a.m. Neighbors say on one was injured. The home is almost completely destroyed.

Fire officials were on scene until about 5:30. They are still investigating the cause of the fire.
