Coach Dell McGee Leaves Carver for Auburn - WLTZ 38 | Columbus Georgia Regional News & Community

After eight years as Carver High School's Head Football Coach, Dell McGee is leaving Carver for an off-the-field coaching position at Auburn.

While at Carver, McGee compiled an 88-18 record, along with four State Semifinal appearances, and a State Title in 2007.

Prior to McGee's arrival eight seasons ago, Carver had not claimed a winning season in nine years.

Last season, the Tigers went 11-2 with a trip to the State Semifinals.

McGee starts his new job at Auburn this Monday.
