Gnarlywood Distribution Group Creates Action Sports Jobs in San Diego.

San Diego has been widely known as the mecca of Action Sports, and up until recently has been the home of an industry cluster that represents the backbone of Action Sports. In the past decade, many of these companies have gone out of business, moved to Orange County or outsourced much of their manufacturing overseas. This has left a limited amount of job opportunities for the younger demographic of San Diego job seekers within the action sports industry.

Four brothers seek to change this by coercing economic development in the Action Sports Industry here in San Diego. The Hicks Brothers represent multiple emerging brands that all play significant roles in the Surf and Skateboarding industry and have decided to open new career building opportunities for young college grads to dip their toes in the business of Action Sports.

These opportunities include internships, part-time work and other entry-level positions to help young individuals gain footing in an economy that leaves much to be desired.
