COLUMBUS, GA - A Superior Court Judge continues to sift through dozens of pretrial motions made on behalf of accused killer Ricardo Strozier.
Strozier is on trial for the 2010 murder of local Christian DJ Heath Jackson.
After hearing arguments over the past two days, Judge Gil McBride ruled the Grand Jury that indicted Strozier in 2012 did accurately represent Muscogee County's population and is therefore constitutional.
The rest of the day, McBride heard arguments from both sides about security in the court room during the trial.
McBride ruled Strozier will not be shackled in front of a jury, but the defense also does not want him to wear a taser-like ankle bracelet and wants a limited number of uniformed guards surrounding Strozier.
Pretrial motions will resume February 20th.
