(CNN)-Secretary of State Hilary Clinton testified on Capitol Hill today regarding the September 11, 2012 attack on the diplomatic compound in Libya that killed four Americans.
Clinton responded to questions about requests for more security at the Consulate in Libya.
"The specific security requests pertaining to Benghazi, you know, were
handled by the security professionals in the Department. I didn't see
those requests. They didn't come to me. I didn't approve them. I
didn't deny them. That's, obviously, one of the findings that Amb.
Pickering and Adm. Mullen made that, you know, these requests don't
ordinarily come to the Secretary of State."
