The children's mother and grandmother, and a five year old boy escaped the flames.
The mother was taken to the hospital with severe burns after crews say she went to great lengths to keep one child from dying.
"She
was able to save one of the children, a little five-year-old; witnesses
advised that she actually threw that child from a second-story window."
Three boys and a girl did not survive the fire.
The cause is still under investigation.
