Police investigate Wynnton Homicide - WLTZ 38 | Columbus Georgia Regional News & Community

A "suspicious" death investigation is under way in the Wynnton area of Columbus.

51 year old Brenda Lowe was found dead in her Thomas Street apartment Tuesday morning.

Family members became suspicious when they hadn't heard from Lowe over the weekend so they requested  authorities do a wellness check.

When police arrived at the home, they found Lowe deceased and are currently investigating the death as a homicide according to the Deputy Coroner, Freeman Worley.
