Funeral arrangements set for Judge Rufe McCombs - WLTZ 38 | Columbus Georgia Regional News & Community

COLUMBUS, GA - Funeral arrangements are set for local legal icon Judge Rufe McCombs.

Visitation will be at the Striffler Hamby Chapel on Macon Road Sunday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Funeral services will also be at the Striffler Hamby Chapel, Monday at 1 p.m. There will also be an hour of visitation prior to the funeral services.

McCombs passed away Saturday at the age of 94. She was not only Muscogee County's first female judge, but also the first female judge in the state of Georgia.
