COLUMBUS, GA - Columbus Police have issued another warrant for the man wanted in connection to the New Year's shooting at the Majestic Sports Bar early Tuesday morning.
21-year-old Dequandrea Artavis Truitt is now wanted for murder. Police issued an aggravated assault warrant for Truitt Wednesday in connection to the shooting outside the club that injured one.
Officials say six were injured and 24-year-old Charles Foster, Jr. was killed in the shooting. They say shots were fired inside the club and the parking lot around 2:30 a.m.
Investigators say they have determined 2 guns were fired inside the club. They believe Truitt was the shooter inside the club, but they believe there is also a second shooter.
Truitt is described as 5'5", 165 lbs and has a slight scar below his right eye on his cheekbone. Police say he should be regarded as extremely dangerous.
