
COLUMBUS, GA - Columbus Police are investigating after a New Year's Eve party at a local club goes south.
Police tell NBC 38 shots rang out at Majestic Sports Bar on Cusseta Road around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. Officials say five were shot inside the club and two were shot inside a car in the parking lot in two seperate shootings.
Detectives on scene the victims were transported to the Medical Center. There, 24-year-old Charles Foster, Jr. was pronounced dead. Three victims have been released and three are in surgery, but officials say they are not suffering from life-threatening injuries.
There are no suspects at this time, but police say they believe there is more than one shooter. Police say witnesses describe a shooter as a man wearing a tan one-piece zip-up work suit with short hair carrying a large caliber hand gun. They say he left on foot.
