COLUMBUS, GA - Another shopping choice for your holiday gifting are pawn shops.

Local pawn shops say although they don't have special Black Friday hours, it doesn't mean there hasn't been a crowd Friday.

Money Mizer says it has one item this year that it can't keep on the shelves: guns. The shop says gun sales have risen this year 50 percent in female customers.

"I think with the world climate and I hate to say it, the elections, but firearms have been a very popular item in the last few weeks," Money Mizer owner Robbie Whitten says.

Money Mizer says in light of tough economic times, it hasn't seen a drop off of customers.
