Roger Lee Baker, JR.By Robbie Watson
Columbus, GA-
A convicted killer from Talbot County is making headline news today after firing off a threatening letter to Superior Court Judge Bobby Peters.
Roger Lee Baker was convicted of killing Calvin Eddison back in 2007.
Last week the Judge received a letter allegedly signed by Baker stating quote "when I do get out, I plan to cause you unbelievable pain"
Also in the letter Baker vows to find the judge and "break every bone in his face", writing 'soon you will die just like that sheriff did".
Judge Peters issued a statement earlier today saying 'I believe Mr. Baker is mad with himself in that he has ruined his life by taking the life of another and since the appellant courts have now said there were no errors made during his trial, his hope for a new trial was shattered."
The letter filled with expletives also takes aim at Mark Post, a former assistant in the prosecutor's office.
