This
dash cam video is hard to believe. Here, you see how the chase ended.
It started at a stop sign in Glynn County, Georgia. Police say the people
in this Toyota were suspicious. And when the officer turns his light on
them, they take off.
Twenty nine year old Candice Smith is the one
behind the wheel, driving down golden isles parkway - you can tell by
looking at the paint on the road how fast Smith was driving.
Police say she got up to 100 miles an hour.
But
that pursuit ends here. Watch as Smith rear-ends an ambulance. The
ambulance skids to the median; her Toyota to the shoulder, demolished.
The crash killed Smith and her two passengers: 33-year-old Corey Lee
Lemon and 33-year-old Cedric Daniels.
The driver of the ambulance
was not hurt. And a second ambulance employee and a patient received
minor injuries from the crash but are expected to be okay.
Police say the three people who died were not wearing seatbelts.
