Juvenile charged with rape

COLUMBUS, GA - Columbus Police charge a Columbus juvenile with rape over the weekend.

The alleged rape took place at the Booker T. Washington Apartments sometime between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. Saturday.

According to police, the male teen is scheduled to appear in Recorders Court on Tuesday at 2 p.m. He will be charged as an adult.

He is charged with rape, false imprisonment, battery and giving a false name.
