Traffic stop leads to discovery of $2,000 worth of marijuana

Columbus, GA - A Columbus man is facing charges after police say the found more than $2,000 worth of marijuana in his car.

32-year-old Marques Passmore is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

He was arrested Wednesday at the intersection of Victory Drive and south Lumpkin Road.

Police say they pulled Passmore over for failure to use a turn signal and when they searched the car and allegedly found 236.5 grams of marijuana, valued at just over $2,300
