AUBURN UNIVERSITY – Auburn University's College of Business has been included in The Princeton Review's "The Best 269 Business Schools: 2013 Edition" released this week.

The College of Business is cited as being one of the South's premier business programs, noting the small classes and low student-to-faculty ratio as highlights.

Auburn's program allows MBA candidates flexibility with class scheduling, helps students master the fundamentals of business theory and focus on a particular area of interest, such as finance, business analytics, management of information technology or marketing.

"We are focused on providing a superior student experience," said Bill Hardgrave, dean of the College of Business. "Our attainment of that goal is reflected in the positive reviews provided by the students as input to the Princeton Review. The faculty and staff of the College of Business are grateful for yet another index that places us among the top business schools in the U.S."

The Princeton Review surveyed 19,000 students attending the 296 colleges to create the book. An 80-question survey asked students to rate multiple attributes of their schools, including their professors and fellow classmates. Reviews of institutional data collected from schools were also factored into the selections for the guide.

Auburn is featured in a two-page profile, which includes details about academics, life, the student body, admissions and financial aid, along with other inside information from the Office of Admissions.

The "Survey Says" portion of the profile lists some of the topics on which students surveyed at Auburn were most in agreement. The subjects include a good social scene and solid preparation in marketing.
