Police find more than $2,000 worth of cocaine inside car

Columbus, GA - A Columbus man is behind bars after police allegedly find more than $2,000 worth of cocaine in his car.

Police say 36-year-old Anthony Wheeler was stopped at the intersection of Head Street and Winson Road for a broken tail light.

That's when police say he allegedly sped off and was eventually pulled over.

Officials say they found a little over 25 grams of crack cocaine inside the car, valued at $2,540.

Wheeler is charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell, feeling to elude and other traffic charges.
