LaFayette Police investigate death of man involved in fight - WLTZ 38 | Columbus Georgia Regional News & Community

LaFayette Police are investigating a suspicious death over the weekend.

37-year-old William Brown died after getting into a fist fight with four other individuals over the weekend.

Police say during the fight, Brown hurt his leg, and was taken to the East Alabama Medical Center.

There, police say is when he passed away due to a possible blood clot.

Brown's body has been taken to the Department of Forensics for autopsy.

LaFayette Police are interviewing the four individuals involved in the fight, but no arrests have been made.
