Columbus, GA - The woman who was fighting for her life after being stuck by a car on Manchester Expressway last week has died.
According to Muscogee County Deputy Coroner Freeman Worley, 23-year-old Amber Salter died as a result of her injuries on Saturday.
Worley says the woman died due to multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
According to Columbus Police, Salter was attempting to cross Manchester Expressway around 8:30 am October 4th.
That's when police believe a car traveling east bound hit the woman.
Police reports say she was not in a crosswalk when she was hit.
