(CNN) - New college grads with an IT degree; get your resume together, GM may have a job for you.
Today, the automaker announced the opening of the second of four planned IT centers as they move toward in-sourcing more technology work.
The center is in Warren, Michigan where the company says they will hire 1,500 high-tech employees.
The announcement follows the opening of GM's IT facility in Austin, Texas last month.
The company's Chief Information Officer says they're looking to hire the next generation of game-changers to help improve performance and drive down operations costs.
GM also says they're adding another 500 jobs in the company, but have not yet announced where those will be.
