
(CNN) - The generic version of a popular anti-depressant drug, apparently isn't working for some people.
The FDA says tests show that the generic version of Wellbutrin XL isn't as effective.
Hundreds of patients complained, sparking an FDA investigation. So Teva pharmaceuticals and Impax Laboratories is pulling its generic version of Wellbutrin X-L.
The company says there are no safety issues associated with the generic products.
