On Wednesday, October 3, 2012 the Auburn Police Division arrested Bryant S. Davis, age 20, and Brian K. Lambert, age 20, both of Auburn on warrants charging each with Theft of Property 2nd Degree.
On this same date patrol officers responded to a business located in the 1700 block of South College Street in reference to a theft complaint. According to a store employee, two subjects stole a motorized shopping cart and were last observed riding it away from the scene.
Officers searched the area and contacted Davis and Lambert behind a nearby business. The pair was taken into custody and the cart was recovered.
The men were transported to the Lee County Detention Center where their bond was set at $3,000 each.
