Roofer dies after falling 25 feet

Columbus, GA - A Columbus roofer dies after falling while repair a roof.

The Muscogee County Coroner's Office says 35-year-old Gary Vielweber fell while working on a roof on Cargo Drive.

Officials say he fell about 25 feet before landing on the concrete.

He was pronounced dead around 9:00 AM at the Medical Center.

The incident is still under investigation.
