Valdosta, GA (WALB) - A boat captain from south Georgia has quite a fish tale to tell.

While he and others were fishing about 30-miles off the coast of Carrabelle, Florida, he got to touch a whale shark.

Boat captain, Joe Bendis says, "We experienced something as Brad said there in the video incredible, it's simply amazing and I hope to have many more experiences like this because this is phenomenal. "

Bendis says the 25-foot whale shark hung around for about an hour and even nudged his boat.
