Suwanee, GA (WSB) - Storms swept across the Atlanta area today.

This is in Suwanee, about an hour northeast of downtown Atlanta. But it's like this all across the metro area.

As rain, wind, thunder and lightning cut through the state Monday and Tuesday.

Flood waters covered roads and bridges, like you see here.

Meteorologists say the weather should dry up this week.
