Sukhwinder Singh Multani (Source: Muscogee County Jail)Columbus, GA - A local food mart owner is facing a drug charge related to synthetic marijuana.
35-year-old Sukhwinder Singh Multani was arrested on Monday on an outstanding warrant for possession of synthetic marijuana with intent to distribute.
He was arrested at his store, Lucky Food Mart, on 13th Avenue.
The store was raided in June for illegal gambling.
Officials say they found nine illegal gambling machines and 100 packets of synthetic marijuana.
Multani and another employee were both arrested in connection to the raid.
