
Detroit, MI (WXYZ) - A lottery winner who made headlines after it was revealed she was still on welfare was found dead.
You may remember Amanda Clayton, who was charged with welfare fraud for continuing to collect food stamps after hitting the lottery in Michigan.
Friends found Clayton dead at her home in suburban Detroit Saturday morning.
Of the one-million dollars that Clayton won, local media report she only had about $67,000 left.
Results of an autopsy are pending.
