
Phenix City, AL - The city of Phenix City economic development office officially announcing today the completion of the purchase of 90 acres for the Brickyard project.
The Brickyard development will create entertainment, dining and lodging. As well as residential homes in Phenix City and the surrounding areas..
The development is expected to bring 1,500 jobs to the area once the Brickyard is complete and all at no cost to tax payers.
JW Brennen says,"All of this compliments what is already happening with white water and in our 2 cities and all of this is being accomplished at no cost to the tax payer;at no cost to the tax payer."
The estimated completion of the Brickyard is 5 years construction on the project began this week.
