Houston, TX (KHOU) - Los Angeles Lakers player Jordan Hill pleaded no contest to assaulting a family member.

He was given a $500.00 fine.

Hill also received a "deferred adjudication," meaning if he does not violate his probation, he will not be charged with a felony.

Prosecutors accused Hill of choking and punching his then-girlfriend, Darlene Luna.
