
Montgomery, AL - Two Alabama men are facing federal charges after allegedly trying to buy $270,000 of cocaine from an undercover agent.
48-year-old Stanley Parker and 68-year-old Richard Sistunk were arrested on Wednesday for attempting to possess with intent to distribute 10 kilograms of powder cocaine.
Officials say Parker arranged to buy the cocaine from an undercover agent in Mexico in late August.
When he met the agent at an east Montgomery hotel to finalize the sale this week, he was arrested.
Both men face a maximum penalty of life in prison.
